It's never too early to think about policy updates...

As AI writing technologies rapidly evolve, it’s very likely that your institution is either strongly thinking about, or has already made steps to update its academic misconduct policies. But what does this look like in practice? Should the policy seek to broadly define what is acceptable use of AI writing technologies and in what circumstances AI writing tools can legitimately be used? Equally, how should they be cited in student work? And lastly, do institutional definitions of what constitutes plagiarism need to be updated?
