  • How to delete old rubrics which have become outdated as result of modifying the assessments on an on-going basis? It is becoming cluttered and there is no provision to delete them.

  • Agreed! I don't have that many yet, but I can see how the need for an instructor to be able to delete an old rubric that's associated with an archived class assignment would be helpful.

  • Thanks for the reply Angela. At least if we can hide the old rubrics and grading forms that should help. How can we get someone responsible to look at this issue on an urgent basis?

  • This was one of the most requested items in the old user voice boards - the ability, not to delete (I can see good reason not to); but to archive (as you can with Quickmarks)

    • Phil He said "if we can ..." & then "that should help" - I interpreted that to mean that he'd like to be able to; not that he can :( I so want it!

  • Glad to see that this post has been created here.  I have been using Turnitin at my current school for the last five years, and at the beginning of EVERY year I would go to the (now deleted) User Voice board and plead that they make this function available.

At least be able to archive/hide (if not delete) old rubrics that will serve no purpose any more.  Different courses, classes, assessments that have been changed, etc.  I have nearly 75 rubrics from 4 different preps and numerous assignments and two of those preps I don't even teach any more.

But for five years there was never a response from Turnitin about why this option is not available.  I'm hoping it will someday soon.  Desperately needed.

    • Shannon Juhan Agree that it's a shame that User voice has gone; and that it would be useful if they either said it's on the horizon, or, if they gave a good reason why it isn't possible.

Nicole Hunt Good news! I have just spoken to our Dev team and this is definitely on their list of plans for the next half of the year so fingers crossed something should be implemented in the near future.

You will make a lot of people happy here in Dundee, and I suspect the rest of the TII world!

Gill Rowell Hallelujah!  😍👍🤩  Not being able to at least archive and hide old rubrics has actually prevented me from creating new rubrics and using TII for assignments because the list of old rubrics previously used by our entire district is so long that it's a burden to try to create and find new ones.

Gill Rowell -- Is there any new information on this?  With the new school year beginning (for most traditional US schools), most teachers would like to save time scrolling through unnecessary rubrics.  Is there any chance this has actually been worked on over the summer and is ready to implement?

Wendy Arch I have checked with the Developers and they are still planning on working on this in the second part of this year but unfortunately I won't be ready for the new US term.

Gill Rowell Just checking in on the status of this option.  You said previously that the developers were "planning on working on this in the second part of the year," so will they begin work soon or (hopefully) are they close to deployment?  Thank you!

    • Gill Rowell Yes this would be very nice to have as soon as you can manage. It is an ongoing issue at any time of the year.

  • Yes please make it possible to delete, or at least archive unused rubrics. I train staff and need to lots of test rubrics.
