It would be exceedingly helpful if peermark assignments could be Synced as a seperate assignment in Canvas.

Final drafts should/could show a % similarity/difference from previously submitted rough draft.

For example if a student only fixed 3 grammar errors & revision is 98% similar to rough draft, as opposed to a student who revised extensively & revision is 70% (ish) similar to the rough draft, that would be helpful for the teacher to know. The percentage could be flipped-because in this case, the higher the better (within reason, because obviously the student should not be submitting an entirely new draft very often).
