How to use ethics to address challenges of contract cheating - an interview with Dr. Sandeep Shastri, VC, Jagran Lakecity University

Contract cheating is when a student uses the practice of getting their work done by a third-party and then uses it as his/her own work. Contract cheating can be both paid and unpaid. The world over, essay mills, under the garb of services that help students, have cropped up to boost this practice and pose a serious threat to academic integrity and institutional reputation.

Purna Bose. Lead of Professional and Educational Services at Turnitin South Asia caught up with Dr. Sandeep Shastri, Vice Chancellor of Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal and one of India's leading political scientists, in an interview on how 'ethics' can be used by institutions and educators to address the rise of contract cheating and student collusions'.
