Issue with Quick Marks?

I am trying to mark papers and any time I use the pre-set quick marks, everything freezes for at least a couple of minutes. I have worked on a few different computers and had the same issue. I am currently stuck for about 7 minutes now and can not continue my work! Is there some issue that can be fixed?

  • Thanks for posting this Stacy.  I am experiencing the same problem.  It really slows down any marking and annotated feedback you are trying to accomplish.  I have experienced this for the last 6 days.  I have not found a solution yet.

    TurnItIn....please help.

  • I am having exactly the same problem as Stacy and Colin. As I'm using Turnitin as part of a completely online writing-intensive course, being unable to give adequate feedback is very frustrating.

Does anyone have a solution? Please!!

    • Kate Behr Stacy Fleming  I have had some success but replacing existing default Quick Mark comments (original TurnItIn) with ones I create for myself.  So I recreated a "Citation Needed" tab (that was one that was freezing), and now there isn't a delay.  I found most of the freezes are with the DEFAULT comments.  But any of my self created comments never experienced a delay.
