Deprecation of Turnitin legacy integration on ManageBac (June 30, 2018)
For current Turnitin customers actively using the Turnitin Legacy integration through the ManageBac learning management system.
In partnership with ManageBac, we plan to transition all of our mutual customers using the original Turnitin integration (created using the Turnitin legacy API) to a newer supported integration, utilizing Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI).
Please find links below on setting-up and using Turnitin LTI in ManageBac:
Linking your Account with Turnitin (Admin)
Reviewing Turnitin Originality Reports for Classes (Teacher)
Viewing TurnItIn Originality Reports (Student)
The legacy integration end of life will take place on June 30, 2018. Once the legacy integration is no longer available, instructors will still be able to access past Turnitin assignments by logging-in natively to the Turnitin website, however, the originality reports will no longer exist on ManageBac.
As a user of Turnitin-ManageBac integration, we strongly recommend that you transition your Turnitin and ManageBac accounts to the new LTI integration by linking your ManageBac and Turnitin accounts with LTI integration. Please inform your staff that originality reports from the old integration will no longer be visible on ManageBac after June 30, 2018.
Please let us know if you have any questions about the transition to LTI integration across your ManageBac and Turnitin accounts.
