Is there anyone from Turnitin managing these forums?

It's one thing to set up a space for discussion, but from many of the most recent posts, it doesn't appear that Turnitin is actively moderating this forum.

There are a number of irrelevant posts - mostly people who seem to think that this is Turnitin - whose posts should be removed/deleted.

Now, I completely understand this. In my institution, the helpdesk sometimes receives a misdirected document for checking, but I let them know that it's not Turnitin. And it's not as bad because the helpdesk is not a discussion forum.

I've reported the irrelevant posts I came across, and I hope something can be done about these posts. Otherwise, the message that comes across is that Turnitin does not bother about the forum they set up.

    Hi

Yes, Turnitin does monitor the pages. We have had some turnover of staff, and some issues that have meant an uptick in the amount of spam. For some reason this is the first time I'm seeing your post! We are working on getting a handle on this ASAP; hopefully you will see an improvement shortly.

    Thanks,

I see you've replied to a few of those who appear to have submitted their works here. Much appreciated! I hope they can eventually be archived. It's still very messy to have their posts visible on the category page.

Also, there's at least one thread that is definitely spam (or maybe even phishing). That should definitely be deleted.

We're working on it, I promise!
