New research from John Hattie

It is now well established that giving feedback is crucial for improving learning outcomes and supporting student achievement. However, there has long been an open and largely subjective question on what types of feedback actually lead to improvements. Turnitin's Teaching and Learning Innovations team teamed up with Dr. John Hattie, author of the landmark Visible Learning, to bring new light to this key question. The peer-reviewed research paper — based on data drawn from Turnitin Feedback Studio™ — was recently published by open access journal Frontiers in Education.
