Particularly curious about this in terms of whether or not this requires a citation of the AI program or if this counts as plagiarism.

The instance I'm describing is taking a paragraph of one's own writing, pasting it into AI, and requesting for it to "improve it". From there, it would simply be copied and pasted into the final document.
