Good day. Thank you. This looks nice and modern.

I do have some questions on missing features:

    a) We used to default it to NOT submit to the student repository, but seems that function is not available in the Admin interface anymore - Lecturer do not always change the setting and then we get 100s of delete from student repository emails :/

    b)  I don't see Enable Peermark in the New Interface? Or am I just missing it

    c) Users also cannot Save their settings like in Classic interface:

    Regards

      Hi  !

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback— and great questions!

      Here’s what we can share:

Repository Settings: At this time, admins can’t default assignments to “Do not store in the student repository” in the new experience. Instructors will need to adjust that manually for now. That said, our product team is actively exploring ways to provide more admin control through upcoming Universal Admin capabilities.

PeerMark: PeerMark isn’t currently supported with the new TFS assignment type. If it’s a key part of your workflow, we recommend continuing to use the classic version for now. Alternatively, enabling the instructor choice setting can allow both assignment types to be available.

Saving Assignment Settings: Saving settings for reuse isn’t available yet, but it’s on the product team’s radar and something they plan to support in the future.

We really appreciate you taking the time to share this feedback. It helps us keep improving the experience!

Hello - I can see on https://portal.productboard.com/kr5jzea66nbwk4cexdugqgpy/tabs/53-upcoming that the ability to prevent students resubmitting & also allowing students to submit any file type are both coming.
While we encourage staff to allow >1 upload, and we also recommend that non-text based assessments are submitted via the VLE, it would be useful to know when these particular enhancements are due.

For us allowing any file type is a nightmare as some of these 'any' files do not process, and students (unfortunately) either  don't check that their file has submitted successfully or are too close to the deadline to rectify processing errors! I'd like this to be an option to turn it off in our admin area. Admins really do need a little more control so developments in that are are very welcome.

That makes sense - I'd like staff to have the option, but very buried, so they don't click thinking they're being kind to students, then grumble they can't see the similarity report (mostly because someone uploaded a pages file)

That sounds so very familiar! We also have a battle trying to get staff to use the Blackboard assignment tool for anything with audio/video - Hohum. Lets wait and see what the new developments bring 😉

Still not that great - too many bugs and am getting increasingly frustrated with the very slow fixes

    Hello,
The new Turnitin Feedback studio looks great, and we would definitely like to explore it in more depth.
We have enabled LTI 1.3 on our Moodle site for testing purposes but will not be using it widely until group functionality is available. We are continuing to use the Turnitin Direct Moodle plugin for the time being.
If we enable the new experience for testing, would that affect users of the Turnitin Direct plugin who are marking assignments, or will it only be deployed on the LTI 1.3 instance?
    Thank you,
    Caroline

Thanks so much for your question—and for the kind words about the new Turnitin Feedback Studio! We're thrilled you're interested in exploring it further. 😀

To confirm: enabling the new experience for testing on your LTI 1.3 instance will not affect users of the Turnitin Direct plugin or any assignments submitted via that integration. The new experience is isolated to LTI 1.3, so you can safely explore it without impacting your current workflows.

Let us know if you have any other questions as you continue testing—we’re here to help!
