A teammate once described paraphrasing as the “literacy hero we should all care about” in this most excellent blog, which is, in part, why we chose this particular resource to feature this week. Sharing a new resource that was added to our existing Paraphrasing instructional resource pack once AI came onto the scene: important tips on Maintaining Academic Integrity while Paraphrasing handout helps educators to navigate this often tricky skill. While paraphrasing is on the surface a fairly simple concept, implementing it can be frustrating for students and teachers alike as it is easy to stray from literacy skill to inadvertent plagiarism. 

While a brief document, essential differences in paraphrasing, AI-paraphrasing, and AI paraphrasing are discussed, as well as how to address common paraphrasing concerns with students.
