Missing information in new Permanent Deletion interface [TurnitinUK]

Hi there,

We have noticed that the new paper deletion system on TurnitinUK.com does not display any information about the course or the submission point from which the requests originate. This information is important to us, as every deletion request must be approved by either the Unit Owner and/or the Student Administration Manager and we use this information to request their approval.

Would it be possible to include in the new interface the details of the “Class”, “Assignment”, and the Turnitin “Submission ID”? The Submission ID currently shown does not appear to match the one displayed in the Assignment Inbox, which can make tracking more difficult.

All the best,

Dr Julio Hermosilla

    Hello Dr. Julio!

Thank you for your suggestion regarding the new deletion interface.

We appreciate you flagging the missing course and assignment details, as well as the Submission ID issue. We'll share your feedback with our product team for consideration.

Please let us know if you have any further input.

    - Kat, Turnitin Team

    I think I'd add to Julio's request:
1: Thanks for now sending the emails re. no of deletion requests in the last week, but, please could it als indicate *which* sub-account they're in? |
We have several, all of which have the same overall admin, but, I have to look in them all. We either need to have the email telling us which sub-account, or, an overview of all deletion requests & their respective locations.
2: Once you have located the request, I'd agree with Julio, we need far more information about the class, assessment and paper ID.
Our process is to investigate, make sure for example, that no-one has marked it since it was requested, or to see if we should recommend that they didn't need to request the deletion, as it was already in the right class.
3; one good thing, though, about the new one, is that a rejected deletion request can be re-requested. I know in the past staff couldn't. We still need, though, to have more information for auditing purposes.
