I absolutely loved seeing how TEACHING my students the tools they need to avoid plagiarism through the feedback cycle helps them to write and learn with integrity. This paper discusses, "the ways in which plagiarism checking serves as a teaching opportunity to promote originality."  It's about time that plagiarism in K-12 schools became about teaching academic integrity skills, rather than just handing out consequences.
