Disappointed!
After relying on it for years, this is the last year that my school will subscribe to turnitin. You took away the best features (grammar check and this year the gradebook) and made the platform way too complicated.

Hi -
Thank you for taking the time to share this with us. I can hear your frustration, and I’m really sorry to learn that your school has decided not to continue with Turnitin. We know changes to familiar features can feel disruptive, especially when you’ve relied on them for a long time.
To clarify: the grammar check tool and gradebook were retired as part of broader updates to streamline our product suite and focus on areas where we can provide the most value to educators and students. We understand that those features were important to many users, and we’ve heard similar feedback from others in the community. You can check out our roadmap to see what our team is working on.
If you’d like, I’d be happy to connect you with more information about why these changes were made and what alternative tools or workflows might support your teaching needs going forward. Even if your institution is stepping away, your perspective here in TEN is incredibly valuable for our teams to learn from.
Thanks again for sharing your experience—we’ll make sure your feedback is heard by our product teams.

I agree- not being able to see grammar mistakes is a huge drawback. I have to go on grammarly (which is free) and see them then get back on here. I have started grading a lot more in google docs because of this and could see us just moving to classroom only- we pay for Gpt 0 to check AI there.
