Paper shows similarity for permanently deleted previous versions

Hi, after my requests were approved for paper versions deletion from the standard repository, a new submission shows 100 % similarity (while choosing no repository) and 10 % similarity (while choosing standard repository). Any idea, how it can be this way?|

      I would like to add,

      After my requests were approved by admin for permanent deletion of five versions of same manuscript from the standard repository, a new submission shows 100 % similarity (while choosing no repository). 100 % of the sources arise from previous five submissions (presumed deleted) only. 

      I think the reason is that immediately after putting requests for permanent deletion and before getting approval of requests from admin, I changed settings to "Submit Papers to No Repository". 

      I came to know that as per Turnitin Help Section: "If the assignment settings were changed to No Repository after submission, the settings need to be restored to Standard Paper Repository to complete a paper deletion request."

      It seems because of my settings those papers have actually not been deleted. And are being considered in similarity check.

      What should be done in this situation.

      Shweta Please contact Institute/Organization Turnitin Administrator. In my case, I followed admin's instructions & it was resolved. Admin identifies all the relevant files from Turnitin database and delete them for good.

      Shweta how it resolved ? I have the same issue but in my case i was checking in draft asignment and it was show 20% i reduced it on multiple atempts to 15% but when i tried on last time it was showing 100% and was showing complityly diffrent university i have all proofs that its my work also digital recipte of every  submission i also contact turnitin and they told me to contact universty which appears in similarty but i dont know who should i contact.

      baseer In my case, it was showing my school only. I flagged it to the system administrator of my school, and he further raised it to Turnitin support. It took time, but it was resolved.
