Feedback studio/grading

I'm very disappointed with Turnitin.com's revision of the feedback studio. I am finding it is not at all user friendly and is very "clunky" compared to the ease of grading student work in the previous format. I have always appreciated the grading features of www.turnitin.com because of the ease in using quickmarks, making comments directly on student writing and is the instructor feedback box. It is now harder for students to benefit from the quickmarks because of their positioning, and much harder to make comments on student writing and position the comments appropriately. Why was it necessary to change something that worked well? This is an example of change for the sake of change. Please address the problems in the new feedback studio, or preferably, go back to the previous version.

    Hello TEN Community,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We’re sorry to hear that the recent updates to Feedback Studio have made your workflow more challenging.

We’ll be monitoring this thread, along with other feedback shared across TEN. We do actively share educator feedback with our product team so they can continue refining the experience.

If you have specific examples or suggestions on what would make the interface easier to use, we would really appreciate hearing them. Your feedback directly informs future improvements.

I also miss the ETS grading as that was a quick way to catch most grammatical errors and saved me time.

100% agree. It is much harder to grade with this "improved" version. I also miss Peermark.

Considering I am an old retired "clunky" Literae Humaniores Professor, I could't agree more with your complaint! One thing is detecting plagiarists, another one is doung it by calculating percentages of similarities. Are we entitled to have an inkling of  what is going on here? How do you distinguish a thesis from a quotation?
Yours is not a routine job. What do I have to do to fit in and be fair to my students? I must know what happened to teaching and learning.
Please forgive me for my inconvenience.

I totally agree with this. I find it much more difficult to navigate the new feedback studio. I also miss having as many highlight colours.
