Paper/document can not upload

 I am unable to upload a file because the "UPLOAD" button will never highlight after submitting a file. Because of this I can not proceed to check the similarity of my document. Please guide how to resolve this.  Screenshot attached.

    If the Upload Submission button is unavailable, you may be attempting to submit before the start date or after the due date. Select the assignment name at the top to check your assignment's key dates and any additional settings that may be affecting your submission. More information is available in our help documents.
