Feedback, ideas, feature requests

Hi,

I remember there used to be an area of Turnitin's website where we could put forward feature requests/ideas and vote on existing ones. Does anyone know if this still exists and where I might find it, or if it has been removed now, please?

    Hi Tim Guyett

Are you a Gradescope user? If so, feel free to use this link

If you use other Turnitin products, feel free to list your suggestions here and I'll make sure to forward it to our product team.

Karen Smith Thank you for replying.

I was actually looking for the website so I could direct another member of staff towards it. I am a staff member at a UK University, supporting our academics who use Turnitin and other educational technology.

One of the academics wanted to suggest an 'undo' option in the text editor of the feedback pane when using Feedback Studio. They often type a lot of text directly into the editor and have made mistakes where an undo option would greatly benefit them. I suggested they type offline then copy and paste in, but they really would like to see an undo feature.

I said I would find out where they could voice their idea, as it does sound like it could benefit users and could be considered quite an inclusive design feature too.

Would you be so kind as to note that request, please, so I can let the academic know I have passed it on for them?

There used to be one, and we could vote on things. I'm going back quite a few years now, but, one aspect that was used in that which was quite handy, was that periodically they'd put a pair of items up, and ask "if you could have 1, which one" - I think you got that about 10 times & most of the items showed up at least twice, always paired with a different one from before.
