How much time Turnitin normally takes to remove a document from its repository?

    Hi! If you're using SimCheck, Turnitin Similarity, or Turnitin Originality, there's a paper lookup tool for paper deletions. The Admin level privileges allow deleting a paper permanently and it'll happen immediately. Here's the guide for more information.

      I have requested for the deletion from the administration of my university. They have emailed to Turnitin and it's almost 10 days past, but the paper hasn't deleted from the repository.

      Muhammad Imran hi! I see, if Admins are doing paper deletions not with the help of a lookup tool, it may take longer. I'd suggest getting in touch with our Support team via  tiisupport@turnitin.com to find out more about the request your Administrator made.

      Yulia Danyliuk Hi. Actually the admins have sent several emails on the mentioned email address but Turnitin isn't updating. Indeed, It is unfortunate to see the slow system of turnitin for paper deletion.

      Yulia Danyliuk my institution name is National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Pakistan and Turnitin sevice Provider is Hugher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan.

      There is this ma'am name Meenakshi who replied for confirmation of deletion from Turnitin Technical Support. It would be great if you can convey my request to this Ma'am for documents deletion.

      Hello , please i need some help.

       when I used the first time Turnitin, in setup I chose standard repository not no repository and I checked my papers which showed 15% similarity index and again I checked it and the similarity index showed 100 percent. 
      My papers are now added to the repository, and I also deleted the class and Assignment, so our administrator could not delete them. Please tell me how to delete my paper from turnitin repository..

      Hi @Prashant Surana, no problem, here's the screenshot captured from the Turnitin Similarity web-based app. If your institution is using Turnitin Feedback Studio, then paper deletions should be made following the steps listed in these guidelines.

    Yulia Danyliuk Actually I want to restore all the deleted papers from my inbox so that I can request my administrator to delete them permanently from the database. I raised the case yesterday from the help desk bar I want to know how many days it will take to restore all the deleted data.

My institution name is "Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University of Technology and skill development"  and Turnitin sevice Provider is "Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan". I want to know how many days I have to wait because I urgently need these papers

    Gill Rowell actually I have requested the team to restore all the deleted papers to my class id. They just have to restore so that I can request our administrator to permanently delete it from the database. Please do it as early as possible as I need urgently.

    I have checked the plagiarism of the same paper multiple times and deleted the previous one. My papers are now added to the repository, and I also deleted the paper from my inbox as well, so our administrator could not delete them. that's why I raised a case request from the help bar menu to restore all the deleted papers to my inbox so that I can request my administrator to delete them permanently. Please restore them as early as possible I will be thankful to you
