The ETS (computer editing) on student drafts
The ETS (computer editing) is not showing up on my assignments anymore? Even past ones, that had it, so students can make revisions.

Hi . Turnitin has been notified by Educational Testing Services (ETS) that they will no longer be supporting their e-rater grammar service in 2025. As a result, Turnitin will be removing e-rater from all of its products as of December 31, 2024.
In the absence of grammar checking provided via e-rater, we recommend using Turnitin Draft Coach to provide grammar checks for students while drafting in Microsoft Word on the Web or Google Docs.
We apologize for any inconvenience this discontinuation of the e-rater service may cause. Please reach out to your account manager if you have additional questions or concerns.

Hi and
Thank you for bringing up your concerns regarding the removal of the ETS e-rater grammar service from Turnitin. As mentioned, ETS has discontinued their support for this service, and Turnitin will remove it from all products by December 31, 2024.
We understand how integral the e-rater feature has been for grading and providing automated grammar feedback to your students. That being said, we strongly encourage you to explore Turnitin Draft Coach as an alternative. It allows students to check their grammar, citations, and similarity while drafting in platforms like Google Docs and Microsoft Word on the Web.
For educators like you, , who rely on automated grammar checks as part of your grading rubric, transitioning to a workflow that includes Draft Coach may help maintain efficiency. You might consider encouraging students to use Draft Coach during the drafting process to address grammar issues early.
We also recommend sharing this feedback directly with your account manager or Turnitin support team. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we navigate this transition. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you need assistance or have additional questions.
