Stupid matches
Hi
I've just run a student's paper through TurnItIn, and it marks "et al." as possibly copied text. I have gone into the filters setting and told it to ignore matches with less than 3 words. I've asked it to regenerate the report even. However, I cannot get it to stop recognizing "et al." as possibly plagiarized text. Any ideas?

Hi Richard, it is likely that there is other content that has been taken from the same source which is why these small matches are coming up. Can you please try to view the entire content that has been taken from this source?
