I’m a Senior UX Writer at Turnitin with a BA in English Education, 8–12 ELA certification, and an MA in English Literature. Before moving into UX, I worked in writing centers and college English classrooms, building a teaching career that eventually led to a tenured assistant professor role in English.

For more than a decade, I taught community college English across face-to-face, hybrid, and online courses, including composition, co-requisite developmental writing, and sophomore literature. While teaching, I used Turnitin regularly and became our campus expert, leading professional development and training sessions for colleagues.

My teaching experience and belief in strong pedagogy still shape how I write at Turnitin. I focus on just-in-time content that gives people the context they need, when and where they need it, so they can move forward with confidence.
