What’s your request or feedback?
Please add the ability for students to insert comments or annotations into their own drafts, similar to the commenting functionality available in Word or Google Docs. Ideally, students could attach a comment to selected text without adding that comment to the actual content of their paper.

Why is this important to you?
Some students use comments as part of their personal revision and editing process. They may leave themselves reminders, questions, or notes about sections they intend to revisit. Supporting student-generated comments would give students another tool for metacognition and self-directed revision while allowing the writing process to remain within Clarity.
