(New) Standard Feedback Studio: Extensions

I have 2 potential features I'd like.

  1. For an assessment that's graded anonymously, the ability to select a student from the list to grant them an extension (in the same way as file can be submitted on behalf of an anonymous student)
  2. If you have granted an extension, the ability to also extend the post date. IN most cases, we'd not want to, but it would be useful to be able to do it if needed.

Thanks so much for sharing this feedback!

Before we pass it along to our product team, could you tell us a bit more about how this would help you and how it would impact your workflow?

    Anonymous grading:
Much of our work is marked anonymously. We have some students who are granted an extension. If they have one, then we need to apply it. However, when the student are anonymous, we can't see who is who, is order to grant it. [c.f. submitting on behalf of a student, when there is a list at the top, so we can select the correct student to submit their work]

    Post date.
Normally, if student x was given an extension, we'd expect the marks to be all ready together (i.e. the student gets an extension to write it, but the marker doesn't]; in a few cases, especially when work is customised to students - e.g. a student teachers write up of a class they were observed teaching, then we'd want a student to have time to write it & the member of staff time to mark it - they can't all be observed on the same day. This is a 'nice to have' the first one is much more essential.
