Roadmap updates for Turnitin Feedback Studio

We’re excited to share what’s coming next in Turnitin Feedback Studio! Here’s a quick look at the latest updates built to support a more efficient, flexible, and meaningful grading and feedback workflow.

What’s been delivered:

  • Upload submission from Microsoft OneDrive
Allows students to upload files to New Standard Assignments directly from Microsoft OneDrive. Learn more >
  • Download a single submission/report from the Submission List
Ability to download the submission and/or various reports for a single student from the 'more' menu in the submission list. Learn more >
  • Bulk download files and reports from the submission list
Ability for instructors to bulk download all submissions, the similarity report, AI writing reports, grading and/or grading and feedback reports from the submission list. Learn more >

What we’re working on now, with expected availability in the coming months:

  • Audio and video summary feedback
Personalize student feedback with audio or video comments to better capture tone and build stronger connections.
  • Google Classroom integration
Allows teachers to create and manage Turnitin Feedback Studio assignments within the Google Classroom platform.
  • Streamlined Assignment Creation
A new vertical layout replaces tabs with expandable sections, helping surface the most important settings while keeping additional options organized and easy to access. Learn more >

What we’re working on next, including features and initiatives in early development:

  • AI First Pass Feedback
Accelerate your feedback with an AI generated "First Pass." The AI drafts the on-paper feedback for you - you simply review, edit, and approve.
  • Automatic feedback summarization for instructors
This feature allows teachers to choose to have AI automatically summarize all of the feedback they've provided on the students work as well as utilize the instructor's rubric criteria to improve relevance. Learn more >
  • Multi-part/scaffolded assignments
A new optional ability to connect assignments in Turnitin to capture steps in a project by scaffolding the work or requiring multiple independent submissions to complete a project.

    Hi Kat,
I know it's a smaller user group, but I'm really hoping that the BB filtering by group (one of the reasons we've stuck to Classic Feedback Studio for now) is going to come soon.
I know, also that group assignments are something that many have wanted for some time now.
