Please add visual brainstorming tools that students can use as part of a multistep assignment. Examples might include concept maps, webs, mind maps, or flexible graphic organizers that can become part of the student's recorded writing process.

Why is this important to you?
Not all students brainstorm effectively through linear text or freewriting. Some students organize their thinking visually before drafting. Currently, students who want their brainstorming to remain within Clarity have limited options; one workaround is using table cells to approximate a concept map or web. Supporting visual brainstorming would allow more students to use the prewriting strategy that works best for them while still keeping that work within the documented writing process.
