On May 27, we introduced new configurable settings for the AI chat in Turnitin Clarity that give instructors the control they need over the AI chat's helpfulness and linguistic complexity.

● Tailored tone: Choose between Foundational, Standard, or Advanced response modes to match the AI's language to your students' grade level and academic discipline.
● Calibrate responsible use: Decide the boundaries of assistance for every assignment.
● Zero guesswork: Use the Preview tool to see sample responses before they are available to students.
