It’s live: AI writing detection for Turkish, German, and Dutch submissions
We're happy to announce the release of our AI writing detection capabilities in Turkish, German, and Dutch to help educators uphold academic integrity by offering insights for submissions in these languages.
Who has access:
Existing customers who license Turnitin Originality and have AI writing detection enabled on their account
iThenticate 2.0 customers who license the AI writing detection add-on
Only instructors and administrators will be able to see the indicator and the report.
How it works:
Turkish, German, and Dutch detection now run alongside our existing English, Spanish, Japanese, and Arabic detectors.
The appropriate model processes each submission based on its language
Papers in unsupported languages won't be processed for AI writing detection
Our Turkish, German, and Dutch models are built to distinguish AI-written from human-written academic content, drawing on twenty-five years of experience safeguarding academic integrity
