Adding Templates to Clarity Assignments
Please add the ability to add a template to Clarity assignments. That is an incredibly handy option to cut down on excessive matches in the Standard Assignment and without it, the Similarity report on a Clarity assignment is back to square one.

Soon, you will be able to pre-populate the Clarity writing space with a customizable template for each assignment, allowing you to provide a structured starting point for your students the moment they start writing.
- When creating a Turnitin Clarity assignment, choose the option “create template.”
- You will then be taken to a sample instance of the student writing space to create a template for that assignment.
- The created template will appear in the writing space for each student when starting that particular assignment.
And if you have any other suggestions for how we can improve Clarity, please keep them coming. We’d love to hear what would make Turnitin Clarity even more useful for you and your students.
