INTRODUCTION
Mark Ighile, PhD is a Professor of African, Oral and Biblical Literature at Benson Idahosa University. He is currently a Visiting Professor of Oral Literature and Folklore Studies at the University of Ibadan, where he earned his BA (Hons), M.A. and PhD degrees.
Professor Ighile has done extensive research in literary stylistics, African literature, cultural communication, folklore studies, performance criticism, biographical studies and Bible as a literary text.
A member of the prestigious Academy of Letters (MNAL), Prof. Mark Ighile belongs to several professional bodies.
