AI Detection Report
Why is it that AI score can only be viewed by Instructors/Lecturers?
I have many students and they need to check their AI score with me each time they make a submission. This is very time consuming and not time efficient for them to rectify/make amendments.
Would it be possible for students to view their AI score just as they are able to view the Similarity score?

We've not got the feature enabled for anyone, staff or student. A big challenge I'd see with allowing students to see it is that many students struggle to understand the similarity index, just looking at the total, rather than understanding that we'd expect some similarity (e.g. quotes, references, standard phrases in a subject area, and just generally the way English works); it's the unexpected similarity that needs investigiating, especially if it's several lines long.
The AI indication level is even harder to explain to students, that all it's indicating is that it's x% likely to have been generated by AI, not that x% of this section *is* AI. It's hard for many staff to understand, so even harder for students.
