retrieving deleted comments

Hi, I was adding a final comment for a student in the text summary section, and it glitched and all of the comments disappeared! Is there a way to recover them? I tried clicking undo in case I had accidentally hit the trash can icon. 

Please help.

    I'll tag in someone regarding this topic, but aside from what you have tried, I am not sure there is anything to be done. 

     am I correct in the above response?
