Standard rubric with scores hidden
We would like to have a standard rubric with the option to hide the scores on the rubric and overall rubric score for students. This would allow staff to use a scored rubric as a means to calculate a guide score whilst having the flexibility to adjust the final mark given to students. The rubric would essentially appear to the student as a qualitative rubric.
Currently staff can use a standard rubric and adjust the overall mark in the Feedback Studio but students can still see the mark calculations from the rubric which causes confusion. The alternative is to use a qualitative rubric although this then requires to calculate the scores manually.
This type of flexibility with the rubric is currently available on D2L Brightspace's native rubric.
This would make it easier for staff to calculate marks whilst adding flexibility to the overall mark awarded and providing clarity for students.
