Unable to extend the end date of a class

Hi, I tried to extend the end date of a class by clicking on the "edit" button and keying the end date as 31 Dec 2026 but the system shows an error message "There was an error processing your request.". Pls advise how I can resolve the issue so that I can still add assignment to the class and the similarity index and AI index will be reflected? Thanks.
