AI word count

The AI guidelines state that the checked writing needs to be at least 300 words. However, some of my writing that is more than 300, for example, 305 is not checked. Is it removing exclusions from the count? I exclude quotes.

    Hi Constance Janes ~ I don't think excluding quotes is likely to impact the AI score. I'm wondering if perhaps some of the words that are submitted don't fall under long form writing? A bulleted list or caption or something like that?
