FAQ: Understanding Badges in the Turnitin Educator Network

Badges in the Turnitin Educator Network (TEN) are small but meaningful ways to recognize your activity, contributions, and support for other educators in our community.

It makes it easier to see who’s contributing, who’s solving problems, and who’s sparking conversations that help our community grow.

Tip for educators: Badges also serve as a quick way to build your professional presence in TEN. The more you engage, the more visible your expertise becomes in the community.

NEW USER

Badge	How to Earn
	New Member Badge. Given when you join TEN
	Added Profile Picture Badge. Given when you upload a profile photo.
	Top Contributor Badge. Awarded to the top 10 members who post the most in a 30-day window
	Rising Star Badge. Unlocks after you read the community guidelines and earn these three badges: Added Profile Picture, First Like Given, First Like Received.
	First Like Received Badge. Earned when someone likes your post for the first time.
	Conversation Starter Badge. Awarded when you start 2 new discussions within 30 days.

NEXT GENERATION TURNITIN FEEDBACK STUDIO (TFS)

Badge	How to Earn
	TFS Explorer Badge. View at least 2 pieces of Feedback Studio-tagged content (posts, blogs, videos, etc.).
	TFS Cheerleader Badge. Like 3 Feedback Studio posts (every additional set of 3 likes increases your badge progress).
	TFS Connector Badge. Leave at least 2 helpful comments on Feedback Studio discussions.
	TFS Content Curator Badge. Share a tip, resource, or strategy in a Feedback Studio discussion that a moderator labels as a "Helpful Tip"
	TFS Problem Solver Badge. Provide an answer in a Feedback Studio troubleshooting thread that a moderator marks as a “Solution.”
	TFS Superuser Badge. Earn all 5 other TFS badges to unlock this recognition of full engagement.

TURNITIN CLARITY

Badge	How to Earn
	Clarity Explorer Badge. View at least 2 pieces of Clarity-tagged content (posts, blogs, videos, etc.).
	Clarity Cheerleader Badge. Like 3 Clarity-tagged posts (every additional set of 3 likes increases your badge progress).
	Clarity Connector Leave at least 2 helpful comments on Turnitin Clarity discussions.
	Clarity Content Creator Badge Share a tip, resource, or strategy in a Turnitin Clarity discussion that a moderator labels as a "Helpful Tip"
	Clarity Problem Solver Badge Provide a solution in a Clarity discussion that a moderator marks as a “Solution.”
	Clarity Superuser Earn all 5 other Clarity badges to unlock this recognition of full engagement.
