Identifying a "QuickSubmit" owner as Turnitin Admin.

I was investigating a potential academic misconduct case recently. While most content uploaded to our VLE can be traced using the course / time it was originally uploaded, I wasn't able to locate a particular file recently. A support ticket (which took about a week, as  I know this is a busy time of year) let me know it was a QuickSubmit, then investigating the metadata (in Word) of the original file, let me locate who probably uploaded it.
Would it be possible for someone with a full admin role on Turnitin (which I have, though wasn't using at the time) to locate which member of staff had used the quick submit for a particular file?

Emma Duke-Williams It sounds like you have had to do a bit of detective work here! Let me see if I can find a better way to do this for you.

Gill Rowell Not sure if you found a better way, however, I have a related question.

Going forwards, if we could have access to QuickSubmit via the LTI, then we could ask staff who wanted to use it to do so. Tracking papers then would be possible if needed (though we encourage them not to do it for student work ...)

We encourage staff not to upload directly to Turnitin, and we do have a staff checking site, where staff are enrolled as students,  if they need it. However, staff aren't enrolled on it unless they ask. Not sure if others have any approaches to dealing with this particular case??

Emma Duke-Williams Apologies for the delay. I have passed your suggestion on to the Product Manager. The ability to look up papers my be something we can make available to users in future. Keep the suggestions coming!
