Similarity report missing matches

I am getting a 0% score for similarity reports in turnitin studio (once I exclude a 100% match to a previous submission of the same file through teams) for content which I know has matches as I have already submitted it to teams using the turnitin plug-in which it highlighted a similarity of 19%. Why are the matches not showing in the studio? I have not set any exclusions in settings and the files are word docs so a supported file type.

    Hi there,

    A 0% similarity score means Turnitin didn’t find any text matches in its enabled search sources for that specific submission. Turnitin only flags text that meets a minimum number of words or matches a sentence/paragraph structure.        That is not the problem as there are matches as said in the post. turnitin within teams is finding matches which turnitin studio is not flagging up.

       I think i have worked it out. If something is submitted to teams first then to the studio once you have removed the match to the teams submission it does not pick up any other matches
