How to Remove a Matching Website Source by the Author Himself when the Website has been down for 8 years?
Hi
I have a question that I cant resolve. I am trying to publish some old articles that I am turning into research papers. 8-9 years ago I had put the raw form of those articles on my personal website drguven.info. Now that particular website is off for 8 years or so and it no longer exists on the internet. However, Turnitin matches them to a website that hasn't been in existence for 8 years. The website was registered on my name and it contained the rough version of those articles which were not published in any journal or conference. Now I want to redevelop those papers for publication but due to Turnitin match I cant.
Anybody have an idea what I can do? Ethically they were my articles written by me and placed on my personal website. Then I took it down and now I cant use these articles because they match to a source that hasn't existed for 8 years.
Any idea will be welcome.
Regards
