Ability to Detect a Difference between Pastes and Tools Like Grammarly in Turnitin Clarity
I would like to request that Turnitin Clarity be able to distinguish the difference between a student copying and pasting versus using tools like Grammarly to correct parts of their paper. We have noticed that if a student uses a tool like Grammarly, Turnitin Clarity flags that as a paste which can be misleading for professors. This is especially evident when Grammarly correct two different spots in a phrase at the same time. Clarity then flags two separate parts of a phrase as one single paste. Being able to distinguish actual pastes from these corrections would be a great improvement to the tool. Is this something Turnitin is planning on adding in the future?
