Here’s what’s new:

✍️ More efficient, more meaningful feedback

We’ve streamlined the assessment experience to help educators focus on what matters most—timely, targeted feedback that drives learning:

  • Margin comments stay visible alongside student work, making feedback clearer and easier to act on.

  • Pinned comments let you highlight the most important points, ensuring key feedback doesn’t get lost.

🎯 Flexible grading to meet diverse classroom needs

With new grading tools, you can better tailor feedback to your students’ needs and your teaching style:

  • Individual extensions for student-specific deadlines

  • Ranged rubrics for more flexible and nuanced assessment

  • Decimal grading for finer scoring precision

💬 What do you think of these new improvements?

Even if you haven’t tried them yet, we’d love to hear your thoughts:

  • Which feature are you most excited to try?

  • Do you think these updates could help save time or improve how students engage with your feedback?

This is great! I'm surprised I hadn't heard that this was coming. Just one thing: I tried the interactive guide Kat linked above and got stuck on this page:

It tells me, "To explore more feedback options, select the three dots on the top right of text box and click on the Edit option," but I don't see three dots anywhere, and there's no "Next" button in the box. Thanks!

Thanks so much, Jane! We're glad you think it's great!

As for the interactive guide, it is working correctly, but the three dots and “Next” button might be hidden depending on your screen size. Try reducing your browser zoom a bit and they should appear.

Feel free to give it another go—and if anything else pops up, we're here to help! 👋
