Feedback Studio in STEM classes: Something for everyone

We all know that writing across the curriculum is important. But, we also know that STEM teachers have to grade a lot of assignments that do not always have a lot of  writing in them.  And, STEM teachers, just like their Humanities counterparts, still want to give effective feedback to their students.

Feedback Studio offers the ability for teachers of ALL subjects to provide this feedback.

If your students completed a "pen and paper" assignment, a diagram, a math problem, etc, simply have them take a picture of their assignment and submit it to Turnitin (be sure to enable all file types for submissions on this assignment).

Then, you can use the pre-loaded rubrics, or your very own customized Rubric, and Quick Marks to provide effective, aligned (assign rubric criteria to your feedback comments), timely, and accurate feedback.

If your students are giving a presentation, or performing a task, or skill, you can use the Rubrics and Quick Marks on a Grading Form to provide instantaneous feedback for students.  Again, use those Rubrics and QuickMarks on a grading form to give equitable feedback if this is the 1st presentation you're grading or even if it is the 50th presentation you're grading; QuickMarks always provide in-depth, where-to-next feedback no matter how many hours you've been watching presentations for!

Speaking of equity and time: Don't forget you can SHARE your QuickMark sets and SHARE Rubrics with other teachers in your department, grade-level, & school.
