I lead Customer Experience at Turnitin. Here's what the data is telling us — Turnitin Learning Integrity Insights Report Q1 2026

Hi everyone —
I’m excited to share our first Learning Integrity Insights Report (Q1 2026).
This quarterly report brings together data and educator perspectives to better understand how learning integrity—and responsible AI use—is evolving in real classrooms and lecture halls.
One insight that stood out: More than 60% of recent customer feedback prioritized the need for transparency in AI use.
Inside the report, you’ll find not only statistics like the one above that illustrate the current state of AI in education, but also:
Key trends in learning integrity
How educators are approaching AI in practice
Insights on student expectations
Gaps in feedback and institutional policy
We’re sharing this here in TEN because this community represents real, on-the-ground educator experience. Your perspectives help us move beyond data alone, shaping how we think about policy, product, and practice in meaningful ways.
Thank you for your feedback. As the Chief Customer Experience Officer here at Turnitin, I’m eager to hear what you think, as it will directly shape how we improve this report next quarter.
Warmly,
Zemina Hasham

Thanks for sharing this, —so much here that resonates.
The shift from “Was AI used?” to “How is it being used to support learning?” feels especially real, along with the tension around feedback and time.
Really looking forward to hearing from our TEN members: what stood out most to you? What are you seeing in your own classroom or institution?
