Duplicate (and triplicate and more) Paper view requests

Is anybody else getting plagued by instructors being able to keep hitting send on paper view requests, so that the paper "owing" instructors get spammed?

I know this whole workflow is far from ideal (and I accept the privacy reasons for that) but something could be done to stop duplicates (and perhaps notify the "requesting" instructor if the request bounces because the "owning" instructor no longer works at the institution etc) that would be great

Steve Bentley This sounds frustrating. Would an option be to set up a designated person to receive paper view requests at your institution? They could then make a judgement on the requests received and only send on those which are valid and requiring further investigation. Just a thought.

Gill Rowell Thanks, that's something that we've looked into several times for other reasons, but nobody (or no team) is prepared to take on the job unless we can quantify how much work they're letting themselves in for, and having raised it with Support and successive account managers over the years, apparently there are no analytics on how many requests are raised.
