Tried and true guidance for creating assignments

Educators have all heard the same: AI is here to stay, AI is changing education, AI ... well, you get the idea! All of this is true, but more than one thing can be true. Don't get out the blue books just yet!
To that end we offer the resource Guide for approaching AI-generated text in your classrooom. Here are 11 tried and true strategies to help you make some strong instructional decisions as you assign writing.
I happen to think these are all good suggestions, but remember they're most impactful when a few things are in place, like well-defined academic integrity policies and clear instructions as to what acceptable usage is (and is not!) in your classroom.
My personal fav is #9: Assess the process, not only the product: Collect outlines and drafts. Additionally, this becomes much easier if you're using Turnitin Clarity!

Thank you for sharing, Karen!
This is a very helpful resource guide for educators to consider when it comes to dealing with AI use in the classroom.
We recommend giving it a read, we also encourage discussions/share experiences when it comes to new technology like AI that's rapidly changing how we do things.
So feel free to comment below and share your thoughts!
